Perfect wedding venue! My husband and I eloped at Glenridding House. We had our ceremony in the gazebo in August and it was absolutely wonderful. Stephen and Lynne were extremely helpful and quick to respond to enquiries during the planning and booking process and during the lead up to the event. On the day they couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming and accommodating. It was a pleasure to have them as witnesses for our intimate ceremony in the gazebo and to share some cake and champagne with them after. The grounds and hotel were absolutely stunning, making our vows looking out over Ullswater is a memory I will treasure forever. If anyone is considering a Lakeland wedding I would recommend Glenridding House without hesitation! Thank you so much for hosting our special day!

Ryan and I had an elopement wedding ceremony at Glenridding House 01/08/18 and it was perfect! Lynne & Stephen were wonderful at keeping in touch & it was a delight to meet them in person on the day, and the card they gave us is the perfect keepsake. We feel very lucky indeed to have had such a stunning venue, especially as it was little over a month in the planning. We even got to enjoy 2 RAF jets zoom across the lake! We got the Steamer across Ullswater from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding & seeing Glenridding House from the boat before the ceremony was very special. Highly recommend Glenridding House as a wedding venue & Ryan & I hope to return for a stay at the hotel in the future.
